Hello, I am Mr. Capitano and I have been a science teacher at Saint Demetrios School since 2006.  Over the years, I have taught all science courses for grades 6 through 12, though I mostly focus on the Regents courses: Earth Science, Living Environment, Chemistry, and Physics.  I also teach Honors Biology to qualified seniors.  These seniorss receive up to eight college credits through St. John University's High School Extension Program.

I earned my Bachelor's degree from Hofstra University in 1998 and my Master's in 2005.  I am currently working towards a second Master's degree from St John's University.   I am a New State Certified teacher for science grades 7-12.
