Welcome to 3rd Grade!

My name is Alyssa Leahy and I will be your child’s third grade teacher. I received my Bachelors Degree in Communications at the University of New Haven, and my Masters Degree at Fairfield University in Elementary Education. I worked two years in Stratford, CT where I completed my student teaching and taught a 4 month maternity-leave in a first grade classroom. After completing school in Connecticut, I decided to move back to my home-state to teach.

This is my first year at St. Demetrios and I couldn’t be more excited for what this year will bring!
