Degrees and Certifications:
Rev. Deacon Nicholas Paros
I became a student of the St. Demetrios School system as early as Kindergarten and finally graduated from St. Demetrios High School in 2007. That sounds like a long time ago, but it feels like it was just yesterday. My journey to where I am today has most definitely been a blessed one. My experiences growing up in our beloved community were great and a vital part of my academic progression. I believe St. Demetrios School and the Community as a whole gave me the necessary tools I needed to reach my goals.
Since completing high school, I spent eight years in Long Island Univeristy studing Psychology. It was during this time that I met my wife, Maria. She was an incredible support through the rest of my studies in Psychology and Theology. In May of 2015 I completed my degree with a Master of Psychology. I finally completed my studies in higher education in May of 2018 when I graduated from Holy Cross School of Theology in Brookline, MA with a Master of Divinty. Upon graduation I was truly blessed to return to the community I was raised in. My wife and I both look forward to this new stage in our life and pray this ministry will be a fruitful one.
Religious instruction in our school is designed to offer a solid foundation to Christianity. Through the study of our church traditions, the lives of our saints and above all the Bible we hope to educate our students in our Christian religion.
